Job Duties

The Department of Accounting, Finance and Business Law in the Texas A&M University –Corpus Christi College of Business invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in Accounting and Finance. These positions may involve night, weekend, and electronic course delivery. Online courses do not require faculty to be located in Corpus Christi.

The Department includes faculty whose disciplines are Accounting, Finance and Business Law. The Department offers undergraduate majors in Accounting and Finance, as well as minors in Accounting, Finance and Personal Financial Planning. The department provides core courses in the undergraduate program and the MBA. The MBA includes concentrations in both Accounting and Finance. In addition, the department offers a Master of Accountancy. All College of Business academic programs are AACSB accredited.

Applicants must have earned an MBA, Master of Accountancy, or PhD with at least 18 semester credit hours at the graduate level in Accounting or Finance from an AACSB accredited institution and possess a strong commitment to teaching excellence. In addition, a record of scholarly peer-reviewed publications, or significant professional experience, in one of these areas is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful teaching experience, online and onsite, at the college level is preferred.
